Sip and Stitch Workshop with Darcy Bowden
It's time for a cozy winter workshop at Found! Join us to "Sip & Stitch" with Darcy Bowden on Thursday, January 25 from 6-8pm. The fee is $26.
For this easy hand-sewing workshop, you'll cut and assemble a two-toned felt basket, then embellish it by stitching with colorful embroidery threads. We’ll serve hot tea, wine and finger sandwiches on this cozy “Sip & Stitch” evening at Found.
Darcy is an arts and design educator and the creator of objects from the hand in clay, fabric and paper. We feature her ceramic works at Found, currently dotty bowls and a celestial series of plates. Other fun facts about Darcy are that she studied Kimono design in Japan, and she formerly taught art at Huron H.S. and Angell Elementary School in Ann Arbor.
