Clay Talisman Class with Katie Bramlage

Clay Talisman Class with Katie Bramlage

New workshop with ceramic artist Katie Bramlage. March 30th at Found.

We're loving our collection of ceramic work by Hazel Park artist Katie Bramlage of Make.Do.Studio. Her handbuilt clay bowls and assemblages have a modern, yet primitive feel. We're pleased to offer an interesting evening of meditative play with Katie on Thursday, March 30 from 6.00-9:00pm. In this class, you will create your own talisman; an object said to have mystical powers and bring good luck. After choosing from a wide variety of handmade ceramic pieces which are reminiscent of stones and shells and sticks, Katie will guide you through the process of design and knot tying techniques to create your own ready to hang wall piece. This workshop is open to all experience levels.

The bowl in the picture above shows a little sampling of the clay bits and bobs that Katie will bring for you to assemble your talisman. The $75 fee includes all materials, and light refreshments. Register in person or call the shop 734-302-3060.

Please note that on workshops, we are not able to offer refunds. If you register, but are unable to attend, we are be happy to hold your class materials for pickup, or you may send a friend in your place.
