DIY Jewelry displays from pallet wood
Here's a DIY jewelry display idea we used in the new FOUND store:
1. Sand the rough spots off a salvaged wooden pallet.
2. Paint it with watered down white paint. (we used 1 part water to 2 parts paint for a look that allows the grain of the wood to show through)
3. Turn on side and hang with heavy duty wire and hooks from ceiling beam.
4. Use small nails and cup hooks to hang necklaces and other jewelry!
We used two pallets and hung them in a window, allowing light to come through, while making use of an under-utilized space. Our typewriter key necklaces hang on one and the other has lovely jewelry made from Great Lakes stones. For the earrings, we just used office clips to hang the cards off tiny nails. An easy display solution for the shop!
