Chalk Paint Class next Sunday

Little Billy Goat Chalk Paint

Paint Workshop at FOUND in Ann Arbor with Little Billy Goat chalk paint

Sunday, February 21 at 4:00      $40 class and materials fee

We're excited about how fun and easy it is to spruce up "tired" furniture and home accents using chalk paint. We discovered a brand that we LOVE to work with - Little Billy Goat paint. It requires little preparation, and can be used indoors or out on just about any surface - wood, metal, stone, plastic, terracotta and more. It can restore old furniture, walls and floors with ease. After painting, "Goat Sticks" are an easy way to add highlights. And sealing it is the final easy step.

Michael will teach this 2 hour  class. Each participant will select an embossed tin ceiling tile or vintage picture frame at the beginning of the class on which to practice the techniques of painting, highlighting and sealing a project. One of the great things about this paint is that it can easily be painted over again if you change your mind about the color or whatever - this is a fun opportunity to PLAY with the paint as you learn about how it works. The basic steps that will be taught can be applied to larger projects at home!

The workshop will be held at FOUND next Sunday, February 21st from 4:00 to 6:00. Since space is limited, we ask that you reserve a spot in advance. Please register in person or by calling the shop (we can take a credit card over the phone). 734.302.3060. The cost is $40.

The fee includes your choice of 12x12 inch project tile or vintage frame to take home with you after the class, plus use of chalk paint and goat sticks in a variety of colors, brushes, glazes and matt sealer during class. You may want to bring an apron or paint smock to wear during class.

Note: The 1:00 session filled up already. Register for 4:00 class
