Garden Party, Flower Day, and Memorial Day all in one long weekend! 

The "Art Bar" at Found will be serving up WATERCOLOR supplies during the first 2026 Ann Arbor Gallery Night in Kerrytown. Stop by to sample luscious Viviva Watercolor Sheets, pans of paint, and yummy gouache, served up with variety of brushes on various watercolor papers. 

Disclaimer: this is NOT a workshop or class and there will be no instructor. Plan to visit all 7 stops (listed below) on the gallery walk this evening, including a drop-in to Found to try some of the watercolor supplies we carry.

There's a special energy in town when family and friends from across the country (and around the world) arrive to celebrate the accomplishments of the University of Michigan Class of 2026. We're here to celebrate them, too!

This year the University of Michigan will award it's one millionth degree!

Speaking of blooming, one of my favorite new arrivals at Found is a group of candles from Chicago candle maker, KOBO. The scents are fresh and summery, with names like Sweet Sunflower, Heath Lavender, Catalan Calendula, Crushed Mint and Wild Tomato Vine.

As a little bonus, the vessels are reusable as glasses AND the colorful packaging of each Plant-the-Box candle is embedded with seeds.

New Year's Greetings! You really helped to clear the remaining holiday items the last few weeks. That's so helpful as we prepare to do an inventory count, restock favorite items and bring in fresh merchandise for 2026.

Found will be CLOSED all day this Wednesday, January 7th, for inventory.  Late Tuesday, our team of very good counters will start to count each and every piece of merchandise. The system currently says there are over 17,000 individual items in the store. Of course, that includes multiples of the same little erasers or cards. But that is a LOT of counting.... so we may be bleary eyed when we reopen on Thursday morning. Good thing Sweetwaters is next door with fresh hot coffee!

Next week, Michael and I head to AmericasMart in Atlanta for our first big buying trip of the year (including planning 2026 holiday displays, believe it or not). Early in February, we'll go to Shoppe Object in New York. I'm so excited about both of those trips. In the meantime, we've already placed many orders that will be arriving later this week and while we're away. And those 17,000 items that are already in the store will be waiting for you!
